A resort in Tagaytay City, Philippines is looking for a reliable and hardworking Hotel Housekeeper to join its team. This full-time permanent position is suitable for candidates who take pride in cleanliness, organization, and providing a comfortable environment for guests.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining guest rooms, cabins, bathrooms, public areas, and other resort facilities. The role also involves replenishing guest amenities, responding to housekeeping-related guest requests, and maintaining the resort’s cleanliness and service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, cabins, bathrooms, balconies, and assigned outdoor areas.
- Change bed linens and replace towels as required.
- Replenish guest amenities and housekeeping supplies.
- Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish furniture and fixtures.
- Ensure guest rooms are properly prepared before guest check-in.
- Perform scheduled deep-cleaning activities.
- Maintain cleanliness of reception areas, hallways, walkways, restrooms, and common areas.
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly.
- Keep assigned outdoor areas clean and organized.
- Respond politely and professionally to guest housekeeping requests.
- Assist guests with reasonable housekeeping-related concerns.
- Maintain a friendly and courteous attitude when interacting with guests and coworkers.
- Follow established cleaning, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Maintain housekeeping equipment and supplies in an organized manner.
- Report maintenance issues or damaged items to the appropriate supervisor.
- Work independently while cooperating with other members of the housekeeping team.
- Perform other cleaning and housekeeping duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Previous housekeeping or hotel experience is an advantage.
- Physically fit and able to perform cleaning duties for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to follow cleaning and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Honest, reliable, and trustworthy attitude.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to follow resort policies and guest service standards.
Physical Requirements
The position involves active physical work throughout the day. Candidates should be comfortable standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and performing other routine housekeeping activities.
