Job Overview

Colville, Inc. is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Inventory Specialist / Warehouse Worker to join its team in Anchorage, Alaska. Key Responsibilities

Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company safety requirements.
Load and unload incoming and outgoing freight.
Receive shipments and organize materials appropriately.
Stock warehouse shelves and storage areas.
Maintain accurate and organized inventory records.
Ensure inventory is properly stored and readily accessible.
Assist with timely stock management.
Work with team members to maintain efficient warehouse operations.
Operate forklifts when required and properly qualified.
Assist with basic warehouse maintenance and minor repairs.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Pick up and deliver parts to various locations around Anchorage.
Assist with identifying products and preparing items for shipment.
Handle shipping-related materials according to company procedures.
Communicate effectively with coworkers and other team members.
Perform additional warehouse and operational duties as assigned.

Requirements

Previous warehouse experience preferred.
Previous forklift operating experience is an advantage.
Clean driving record.
Forklift certification preferred.
Medical card for operating a large box truck is preferred.
Hazmat experience for identifying products being shipped by air cargo is an advantage.
Strong communication skills.
Good problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to follow safety procedures in different working conditions.
Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
Ability to remain on your feet for approximately 8 hours.
Physically capable of performing warehouse and material-handling duties.
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Must successfully complete required pre-employment screening.

Work Schedule

Full-time position.
Monday to Friday.
Approximately 8-hour shifts.
Additional hours may be required depending on operational needs.
