About the Job
We are seeking experienced Machinery Operators and General Farm Hands to join a small agricultural team in Kununurra, Western Australia. The successful candidates will work closely with the Farm Manager and assist with machinery operations, irrigation, general farm activities, maintenance, and repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate tractors and other agricultural machinery safely and efficiently.
- Perform general farm and field duties as required.
- Assist with irrigation operations and monitoring.
- Conduct routine maintenance on farm machinery and equipment.
- Identify and report equipment issues and maintenance requirements.
- Carry out basic repairs when necessary and within your skills.
- Follow farm safety procedures and operational requirements.
- Work cooperatively with the Farm Manager and other team members.
- Assist with other general agricultural duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous experience operating farm machinery.
- Experience working as a general farm hand is preferred.
- Ability to safely operate tractors and agricultural equipment.
- Basic mechanical and maintenance skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Reliable and responsible approach to farm work.
- MR or HR driver’s licence is highly regarded.
- Forklift licence is highly regarded.
Work Environment
