Mandalong Poultry Farm is looking for a reliable and dedicated Poultry Farm Worker to support its livestock team with daily poultry production and general farm operations. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with general day-to-day poultry farm duties.
- Prepare sheds for the arrival of day-old chicks.
- Unload and safely handle day-old chicks.
- Complete mortality runs and remove livestock as required.
- Monitor and adjust temperature, humidity, ventilation, and air-quality settings.
- Complete daily farm paperwork and check sheets accurately.
- Operate farm vehicles, machinery, and equipment safely.
- Clean, wash, and disinfect poultry sheds and equipment.
- Help maintain farm grounds and surrounding areas.
- Follow animal welfare and biosecurity procedures.
- Follow workplace health and safety requirements.
- Assist with after-hours farm duties when required.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Farm Manager or Leading Hand.
