Service Technician – Electronics

About the Job

Hailo Wind Systems is looking for a skilled and dependable Service Technician specializing in electronics to join its team in Haiger, Germany. The position involves servicing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing equipment used in onshore and offshore wind turbines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform service and maintenance of service lifts in onshore and offshore wind turbines.
  • Inspect ladders, fall protection systems, PPE, service lifts, and related accessories.
  • Support and prepare equipment for TÜV inspections.
  • Maintain and repair wire rope hoists.
  • Assist with technical troubleshooting and maintenance activities.
  • Support the company’s training center when required.
  • Assist international subsidiaries with technical service activities.
  • Follow all safety and quality procedures.

Requirements

  • Completed training as an electronics technician specializing in energy and building technology, or devices and systems.
  • Entry-level professionals and suitable career changers are welcome.
  • Comfortable working at heights.
  • Confident and communicative personality.
  • Willingness to travel worldwide approximately 150–200 days per year.
  • Good written and spoken German and English skills at approximately B1 level.
  • Valid driving licence.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Schedule

The position is available as full-time or part-time employment with flexible working hours. The role may require extensive domestic and international travel depending on service requirements.
