Job Overview
Marshalls is looking for a dependable and hardworking Store Cleaning Associate to help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming retail environment in Carson City, Nevada. This part-time position focuses on floor care, general store cleanliness, and supporting different areas of the store when needed.
The ideal candidate should have good attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the physical ability to perform cleaning duties and operate floor-care equipment. Previous retail experience is preferred, but candidates with a positive attitude and reliable work ethic are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the sales floor, restrooms, backroom, employee areas, and other store spaces.
- Safely operate floor-care equipment such as scrubbers and buffers.
- Sweep, vacuum, dust mop, damp mop, and perform spot cleaning as required.
- Clean glass, windows, and other assigned surfaces.
- Keep essential supplies stocked in restrooms, employee areas, and front-end spaces.
- Support store recovery and organization throughout the day.
- Assist with sales floor, front-end, and backroom duties when needed.
- Provide support for customer service and front-end coverage when required.
- Follow company health, safety, merchandising, and loss-prevention procedures.
- Help maintain a safe and organized workplace.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other associates.
- Follow applicable workplace policies and labor requirements.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Work Environment
