Job Overview
A leading provider of advanced plastic piping systems is seeking a dependable Warehouse Worker to join its facility in Preston, Idaho. This full-time position is suitable for candidates with warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial experience who enjoy hands-on work and being part of a safety-focused team.
The Warehouse Worker will help ensure materials and finished products are handled, packaged, stored, and transported safely and efficiently. The role also includes inventory management, shipping documentation, equipment inspections, and communication with production and transportation teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and safely move materials throughout the facility and storage yard.
- Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment when properly qualified.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and issue or return materials as required.
- Organize and manage production-related materials.
- Package and label products accurately for shipment.
- Prepare customized packaging for specialized products when required.
- Assemble and disassemble storage crates and containers.
- Report damaged products and complete required documentation.
- Prepare shipping and inventory paperwork accurately.
- Perform routine inspections of forklifts and mobile equipment.
- Communicate effectively with production employees, drivers, couriers, and other departments.
- Follow workplace health, safety, and company operating procedures.
Requirements
Required:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
- Ability to use basic hand tools, saws, and strapping equipment.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, carry, and move materials during the workday.
Preferred:
- Previous forklift operating experience.
- Familiarity with common pipe fittings such as tees, wyes, reducers, flanges, and couplings.
