Position Summary

Daily responsibilities include replacing linens and guest amenities, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, removing waste, vacuuming carpets, maintaining floors, checking room equipment, and ensuring guest rooms are presented in a clean and comfortable condition.

The position also involves responding to guest requests, communicating professionally with guests and colleagues, following safety and security procedures, and supporting the housekeeping team in achieving common operational goals.

Daily Tasks and Duties

  • Respond promptly and professionally to requests from guests and other hotel departments.
  • Load housekeeping carts with required cleaning supplies and transport them to assigned areas.
  • Follow established procedures when entering guest rooms.
  • Confirm that guest rooms are vacant and access is appropriate before entering.
  • Replace guest amenities and supplies as required.
  • Remove dirty linens and replace them with clean linens.
  • Replace used towels and terry items with clean supplies.
  • Make guest beds according to hotel standards.
  • Fold and arrange towels and terry items appropriately.
